Dog Days of Summer Fitness Challenge!
8-WEEK SUMMER WEIGHT LOSS CHALLENGE: July 5 - August 31
Don't let summer pitfalls derail you from your fitness goals - win money for staying on track! We're holding an 8-week challenge to keep you on track during the lazy summer months and help you reach your goals even faster. Weekly weigh-ins track your progress, and the girl and boy to lose the most % of their body weight at the end can win BIG! (Please note: your total body weight will be kept private, and only the amount of weight gained/lost each week will be announced.)
HOW IT WORKS:
- girls vs. girls / boys vs. boys
- $20 CASH deposit to enter
- weigh-in each week - lose $1 of your deposit each week for every pound gained or for maintaining your weight, pay nothing if you lose weight
- lose $5 of your deposit for missing a weigh-in
- get $10 of your deposit back at the end if you never miss a weigh-in and don't gain any weight
- winner in each gender group determined by the total % body weight lost
- winning boy and girl split the pot! winners MUST maintain their weight for one week after the challenge ends to claim their $$$, or runner-up in their category takes their share
- Contest dates: July 5 - August 27 (Final weigh-ins on August 30 & 31)
- weigh-ins done on SBFC-approved scale right before each class on Mondays and Tuesdays, so come to weigh-in even if you can't stay for class
