harness your power

For each of us there exists an “achilles heel” – that thing we find ourselves struggling with when it comes to achieving our fitness goals. Let this week be about embracing your inner power – the power to change – and letting it help you overcome your weaknesses, whatever they may be. If sugar undermines your fitness plan, before your reach for that donut box on your secretary’s desk, remind yourself that you have the power to change your habits and resist what you know won’t help you achieve your goals. If extra weight makes exercising difficult for you, use your power to start slowly and be patient with the process. If finding time to exercise and grocery shop seems impossible, remind yourself that your life is not so out of control that you can’t take care of yourself, and use your power to shift your priorities and ask for help if you need it.

These are YOUR goals, so no one can achieve them but YOU, and today is the best day to start taking control!
