bring it.
I hear so many excuses for why fitness goals seem out of reach: “I want to lose weight, but I love my daily diet coke.” “I’m too tired to exercise.” “But chocolate is good for me, right?” “I meant to exercise, but I overslept.”
Though some reasons may be more compelling than others and all are based in some truth, the fact of the matter is that if you are not getting any closer to your goals, then what you are currently doing is not working for you. And YOU are in control of your life – not a victim of circumstance – so YOU have the power to change it if you really want to.
[If you do not want anything to change, then continue to live as you currently do. But if you DO want to change, then you have to shake up the status quo.]
This week is about recognizing opportunities for improvement and seizing them, so that you FINALLY get what you want. It’s about reevaluating your current system with an objective, critical eye, picking out what needs to be changed, and changing it. It’s about BRINGING IT to the table – your game face, your excuses, your “diet foods”, your finger-pointing, your friend’s diet plan that you thought you could stick to – and making changes so that your game plan fits your life and your goals practically.
Not sure where to start? Whether you are a current client of mine or not, I am happy to answer questions, give feedback, and help you create a plan that works for you. Just send an email with your goals and challenges to emily [at] southbayfitcamp [dot] com and we’ll go from there.
Who’s ready to reach their goals?
